Our small group tours are a relaxed and sociable way to experience Madrid’s food culture while meeting fellow travellers along the way. We keep our public tours small, with a maximum of 8 guests, so everyone can interact with the guide, ask questions, and comfortably enjoy the neighborhood tapas bars, specialty shops, and market stalls we visit.
Both tours take place in Malasaña, a vibrant neighborhood just a 10-minute walk north of Madrid’s historic city centre, and run almost every day. De Mercados is available Monday–Saturday, and De Tapas in Malasaña runs Tuesday–Sunday, with a 2-guest minimum for the tour to take place.
Both experiences can be adapted for most dietary requirements, including pork-free, vegetarian, and gluten-free menus, and can also be booked privately for your own group or family.
“What a super fun experience... The group was small, so it felt very intimate and friendly… I would highly recommend a Walk and Eat Spain tour to anyone looking for an introduction to Madrid or just a fun and tasty way to spend an evening here.”
