De TAPAS
An evening wine and tapas Experience
De Tapas:
An Evening Wine and Tapas Tour
Tour Description
Make every bite count!
There are literally thousands of tapas bars in Madrid to choose from. But don’t worry! We’ve spent years eating and drinking at every tapas bar in Malasaña (it’s a hard life!) to find the most delicious, authentic tapas that this central Madrid neighborhood has to offer.
This Madrid tapas tour is a perfectly curated night on the town. You’ll visit four locally owned tapas bars and restaurants that epitomize the unique blend of modern and traditional that the Malasaña neighborhood is famous for.
Taste cured Iberian meats, the cheese board of your dreams, ugly croquetas (the best kind), perfectly prepared seasonal vegetables, the best huevos rotos in Madrid and so much more. If you travel for food, this experience was made for you!
Over the course of the evening, we’ll introduce you not only to some of the best food in Madrid but also to the people who make and serve it.
And as Spanish tradition dictates, we’ll pair each dish with its accompanying drink. From our local lager to robust red wine, you’ll taste the liquid heroes of tapas culture, all of which are of course made in Spain.
Includes
Spanish dinner as it should be: late-ish, spread across 4 bars/restaurants and utterly delicious.
Super small groups: Our public tours have a maximum of only 8 guests!
Start the evening with the crown jewel of Spanish food a hole-in-the-wall charcuterie shop as you meet the owner and try some of the most celebrated products in Spain!
Get a crash course in Spanish wine (aka the best wine in the world, even if we are a bit biased)!
Taste the full range of Madrid tapas — from recipes that date back centuries to modern works of culinary art.
Discover the diverse world of essential tapas beverages: sweet vermouth, refreshing lager beer and, of course, plenty of Spanish wines!
Walk through two and a half centuries of history and get to know the rockers and revolutionaries that shaped modern Madrid.
Put your español to the test as you meet the people that keep Madrid’s tapas culture thriving.
Pepper us with all your Spain questions, pick up the local lingo and prepare yourself for food and wine bliss for the rest of your trip.
This experience includes an abundant dinner’s worth of tapas plus 5 glasses of wine/beer (non-alcoholic drinks are also available).

Madrid has several great tapas neighborhoods. All of our tours focus on neighborhoods that are just off the beaten path — so you experience the real thing.
This tapas tour visits the hip and historic Malasaña neighborhood, which is the area just north of the main Gran Via avenue. Malasaña is where many of the biggest events of the past 200 years took place. Between tapas stops, you’ll discover the rebellions, reconstructions and fiestas that took place along these cobblestone streets!
