We kick off our Madrid market tour for kids with churros and hot chocolate (perhaps the most kid-approved food in all of Spain!). Next we’ll head to an olive oil tasting where kids become mini-olive oil experts. Then it’s usually time for a playground break next to the neighborhood school before we head into the traditional market. There we’ll try the specialties at three market stalls. Think seasonal fruit like strawberries and artisanal cheeses. We mix in an adventurous stop as well to make sure kids can try something new! Then we sit down to a tapas feast featuring dishes like Spanish omelet, beef stew and sizzling shrimp.
